Climate + Agriculture, Rwanda 2021 - 2024

Rwanda is a landlocked country with an agricultural economy experiencing the impact of climate change and soil degradation. With pressures to feed a growing population, reduce climate impact, and solve malnutrition, the Rwandan government, NGOs, community groups and farmers themselves are seeking new ways to make it work. From circular economy initiatives to climate smart agriculture practices, there is a move, certainly a hope for more sustainable farming to take hold.
